NFDA is pleased to sponsor this special clinic opportunity.
Lisa will be holding a Mini-Lesson or "Ride a test" clinic in which the rider can do a specific test or bring one from the day before, and she will go over ways to improve their abilities and scores. Each session will be 20-25 minutes, and you must be warmed up and ready at your designated time.
Lisa El-Ramey, a native Floridian, began riding at the age of 3 and was introduced to dressage at the age of 13. Growing up Lisa rode formally in the Saddle Seat discipline, but embraced all types riding. Raised on the family farm which bred Arabians, she had the freedom to learn from the bottom up. She started her first horse under saddle at the age of 11. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Zoology and after college focused solely on dressage. An accomplished competitor at the National and FEI levels, her achievements include multiple USDF Regional Champion and Reserve Championships, USEF and USDF Horse of the Year National Champion and Reserve Championships, along with breed division awards. Lisa is a USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist, in addition to holding Silver and Bronze Freestyle Bars. Lisa’s judging began in 1994 by completing of the USDF “L” Program “With Distinction” and currently holds the USEF Senior “S” dressage judge license. Known for training many different breeds of horses in the discipline of dressage, Lisa uses her unique skills and background to make difficult training concepts more easily understood for both riders and horses. Her current mounts include Devon, a 10 year old Dutch Warmblood mare, bred by Ms. El-Ramey, DeLauren, a 14 year old Oldenburg mare, bred by Lloyd Landkamer, Bullseye, an 11 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding, bred by Dr. Harrison, and Virtuoso, a 9 year old Lusitano gelding, bred by Dany Lahaye and imported from France. She also has clients and client horses in training at her own Oak Hammock Farm, Inc. located in Loxahatchee FL.
Riders must have a stall from the show or new stall or grounds fee for Sunday.
