Thanks to NFDA Board Member Barbara Cadwell for this information regarding the Gifted Fund! Please visit https://www.dressagefoundation.org/ for more details and to apply!!!!

The deadline for the Gifted Fund grant applications is September 15.

They must be received in the TDF offices on that date to be considered. The purpose of the Gifted Fund is to enable the busy adult amateur to take a concentrated block of time to make their riding a priority; in effect to “give permission” to take the time to devote to themselves and their horse. Priority is not given to any particular level. All applications are considered on their merit, regardless of level. Priority is given to applicants with a strong volunteer background. Applicants must be USDDF GMO members and must commit to writing a brief article about their experience for their GMO newsletter and TDF. Typically successful applicants take a week off from work or other obligations to spend quality time with their horse and trainer. They do not have to travel from their home barn, although many do not have a trainer at their home barn and travel to a trainer’s barn. One fifteen hundred dollar grant is given in each USDF Region, plus four wild cards. For further information and to apply, please go to The Dressage Foundation website.
